#bestof2014: 22 flights, 8 countries, 10 towns + beaucoup adventure

Little more than a year has passed since I started this travelogue and I’m very happy with how a lot of things have worked out. I set out to explore France, learn French and turn up the trill factor on my passport.

Just 22 flights later, I’ve explored eight nations (Belgium, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Spain) and 10 towns. I also did a good amount of traveling in the U.S. this year, because planes were just my life, it seemed.

My French proficiency has quadrupled and I am a little closer to my goal of fluency.

Most of all, though, I had the time of my life. I leaped toward unknown experiences and found my way back home.

Here are some of my highlights of the year. What about you? What were your best moments this year?
